Cala Millor Attractions
Opportunities for watersports abound, including windsurfing. A nearby school is available for all ages. The fun doesn't stop at the shore however. The resident Fantasy Park will keep the kids busy for hours on end with its range of colourful rides and inflatables. There's also the Auto Safari Zoo just outside of town with giraffes, zebras and monkeys; plus infant elephants at the incorporated Baby Zoo. Carting is available neaby as are those classic glass bottom boat trips to have a look at local sea life.
Pubs Music - British Style Family Holidays
Cala is also well known for its eclectic British styled pubs and music bars that populate the town centre. You will recognise all the drinks that are available and the pub games and quizzes that they hold. They help give it a slightly livelier edge than its neighbours. However it's still a far cry from Magaluf and Palma Nova and is regarded as a family resort.
Food and Fiestas
There are lots of good restaurants in the resort. Many will have good olde
English pub menus. There will also be many tapas bars and local
delights available. Being an island, you will guess that seafood is available
and chip form as well as local styles. After all you are in Majorca,
you have to have at least one paella.
The locals do love to celebrate and you can join in the fun too. There is a series of fiestas every calendar year. By far the most spectacular are the Mallorca Balloons, held at the end of October. Competitors from all over the world come to show off their hot air balloons, filling the skies with a multicoloured assortment of all shapes and sizes!
