Sant Gervasi Hotels - St Gervasi Barcelona
When you choose a hotel in Sant Gervasi, you are choosing an area that use to be a town in its own right. To the North and West of the Barcelona city centre it still holds onto the feeling of the old town. The area is known for it expanse of parks and green, open spaces including Collserola Park.
Sant Gervais runs up to Tibidabo, one of the two mountain surrounding Barcelona. The population is quite sparce and the lush greenery means it is quite quiet. Barcelona's notable architect Gaudi built Bellesguard here, so he had somewhere for quiet contemplation. A visit to Tamarita gardens will tell you this was where the rich and famous of Barcelona had their mansions. It is a lovely place to spend some time near the quiet, lush, green splendour the city has to offer.
