For those with families be sure to visit the theme parks and aqua parks. There's a rather special Camel Park close by where you can have an experience of riding a camel for an hour - not for the faint hearted or those with delicate tummies!

The older kids will love the Karting and there's Quad Biking too. For those who want a bit more adventure try the Bob Diving. There are a range of water sports to choose from - wind surfing, water ski-ing para sailing and scuba diving. A more serene approach is to simply potter about and do a bit of snorkeling and see what you can see - take an underwater camera with you.

The most favoured park on the island is Parque Las Aquilas in Los Cristianos - it will keep the whole family occupied for days on end.
