Plenty of choice in beaches with long sandy stretches and the chance to walk barefoot and soak up the golden rays of sunshine, splash in the deep blue ocean and simply lose yourself for a while.
Be sure to visit Western Park and spend some quality time at the Aquapark where you can enjoy those slides, rides and if you feel brave enough do some Kamikaze rides and push out those barriers.
From Go Karting to golfing and all the watersports you could wish for to walking, swimming and the full range of ball games and of course that good old fashioned Frisbee - there's always some activity for all ages.
Throughout the year there are celebrations and festivals going on from January's Three Kings visitation through many of the Saints Days and on to the carnivals in February, June and July where people dress up, ride on horseback and eat, drink and dance to the music. Many of the finales end in a marvellous display of fireworks. A wonderful place to have that family fun holiday in the sun.
