There are a number of golden sandy beaches where you can spend lazy days, have quality time with your family and friends and enjoy the deep blue ocean as you swim and wash away all your worries. The Cavia area is rather special with some interesting treasures to discover. For instance why not take a trip on a glass bottomed boat, view the amazing sea life below and land at the Dragonera Island and immerse yourself in nature - the National Park is filled with plant life and bird life. View the Roman remains at the Cova de sa Font.
There's also a pretty little village worth visiting just a half hour away - Cala Fornells is one of the more traditional places to see with original terracotta style houses and a true Spanish lifestyle. Walk around the village, enjoy a cool drink in the shade and then prepare to head back home.
There's a promenade that runs from the Playa Palmira to Playa La Romana - fully pedestrianised linking the three beaches together. Behind is the street known as El Bulevar - filled with shops, bars and restaurants and where most people congregate in the evenings. Plenty of social scene for everyone.
