We are ideally located right next to the Arts and Science Centre and close to the Exhibition and Conference Halls - making this the perfect place for those on business or wishing to study. First of all our city is home to the famous and fine porcelain of Lladro - especially for the discerning collector and those who appreciate art, colour and beauty. Secondly we are famous for our Paella - the rice dish that has been around for centuries and goes back to the fishermen who made cheap and easy meals for themselves. Rice is the base and then its just a question of whether you enjoy seafood, meats or just vegetables.

There are numerous events and festivals throughout the year but probably the most famous and enjoyable is Las Fallas which takes place in March - statues are made over the year and then paraded along the streets, once a winner is chosen the rest are burnt in a ritual that sees in the Spring time.

Evenings can be spent promenading, enjoying the bars and cool drinks with friends and for those who want to dance until dawn - head over to Cullera Road for clubs and discos with every kind of music.

Good stuff: The staff were very friendly, professional and easy to communicate with. The decor and facilities were superb, even the minibar wasn't too expensive!

Overall: I didn't realise the distance of the hotel from the main area for eating out and enjoying the Valencian nightlife (round plaza de carmen). However it is an easy walk to the city and a cheap taxi back (5 euros approx). The standard of the hotel makes it worthwhile staying a little further out but I had to find out the details of travelling there and back from myself.
