The Library - Biblioteca Menendez y Pelayo is in the same building as the Municipal Museum and has some 50,000 books that belonged to Mendendez y Pelayo which were left to the city after his death in 1912. Opposite is the Casa Museo which displays the life and times of this great man - take a guided tour to fully understand his life.
The Museum of Fine Art and the Museum of Archaeology are well worth a visit and be sure to pay homage to the Cathedral where you can sit serenely awhile.
