Meliá Sol y Nieve Granada Plaza de Pradollano, s/n

Picture of Meliá Sol y Nieve

There's plenty on offer here apart from the extensive ski-ing. This is a photographers paradise, wonderful for hikers, horse riding and in the summer time canoing.

Be sure to take full advantage of seeing all that the city of Granada has to offer whilst you stay here. Celebrations, fiestas and fireworks are all part of life here. There are extensive choices of eating and evening entertainment with a passion for jazz and Flamenco. One visit that is quite an experience is to the Socromonte Caves where you can indulge in the local wines and watch the flamboyant Flamenco dancers show off their style and colour. Processions on Easter Week and at the end of June for the Festival of the Albaicin are well worth seeing.

Plenty of shopping in the city - everything from lace, olive oil soap, jewellery, antiques, furnishings and Moroccan handicrafts as well as the mainstream outlets.

In an afternoon why not head over to Calle Calereria Nueva where you will find a number of Treterias - tea rooms - these are dimly lit rooms, with low seating and scatter cushions where you can relax and sip herbal teas. Very Bohemian and popular with the student community in the city.

Make the most of all your options with over 70 miles of coastline where you can soak up the sunshine and splash in the sea after a morning on the slopes!
