Visit the Castell de Sant Nicolau which dates back to the 17th century and was once the Watch Tower to protect the nearby harbour. The Cathedral dates back to the 16th century and is filled with fine carvings and ancient architecture.
In the main town of Mahon you can take advantage of some fabulous shopping and see the gin distillery if that's your tipple - watch the whole process, do some sampling and then buy whatever you like. Mahon also is home to the Teatre Principal so if you fancy a show be sure to see what's on.
