If you love a hike then just 3km up the mountain takes you to the beautiful Bellver Castle which was constructed way back in 1309 under the order of King James II. Castle then prison and now the Museum of the History of the City. Visit San Marcos Chapel, Sala de Jovellanos and the Throne Room and view the Despuig Collection and classical sculptures. Step out on to the terraces and enjoy the most magnificent views out over the Bay and out to sea - super.

If you fancy a train ride up to Soller, pack a picnic and take the 27km trek up there - the scenery is amazing, lots of photographic opportunities and the chance to see the 17th century manor house at the top.
