 Visiting this part of the world is something that you should do at least once - there is magic, charm, history, mystery, zest for life, dance and music as well as the most amazing scenery and exciting entertainment.

There some good shopping in the city - head for Plaza Romero Martinez and Plaza del Arenal for the mainstream shops and department stores. Duarte, Larga 15 - here you will find the most famous saddle shop selling beautiful leather. There are quite a few speciality shops where you will find ceramics, pottery, lanterns and handicrafts.
Three are an abundance of restaurants, tapas bars and places to enjoy a cool drink. For that special seafood dinner head for Plaza Santiago and for something that is a little more traditional head for the humble country restaurants where you can eat the cured hams, fried vegetables and try the local wines.
Flamenco dance displays are a way of life here as are the amazing Equestrian Ballet displays that you can watch every Thursday. Soak up the atmosphere and relax at a very much slower pace.
