The Ramblas are a major attraction, with restaurants and shops as well as museums and markets. A wonderful place to visit day or night. We are also very close to the cathedral and Gothic district of the city where you will find the Roman remains alongside medieval buildings. Barcelona is a modern cosmopolitan city that has inherited many centuries of history, making it a captivating place to visit.

Good stuff: The hotel is very central- our room overlooked the Ramblas. We stayed in a superior room which was good. Overall the facilities are clean and well cared for.

Overall: The hotel is a busy city centre hotel, close to the tourist attractions of the Ramblas and Gothic Quarter. Do not stay here if you want a quiet time. We liked the fact that we could be out in the City Centre in next to no time at all. There is a self service breakfast bar on the third floor and breakfast is on offer from 08.30 to 11.00. There is a lift, but it is small and rooms are on the second floor upwards. The reception area is small and can get busy. Staff are very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a reasonable hotel close to shops, bars and restaurents this is a place to consider. But if you are looking for luxury and relaxation look elsewhere. We ourselves had a great time and we will come back.

Overall: The hotel was in close proximity to major sites as stated in the advertisement. I got value for my money in terms of the room and how clean it was kept.

Overall: The hotel is extremely well located on the Placa de Catalunya, central for bus services and sights and shops. Despite this the room was quiet. However the standard double rooms are extraordinarily small, and I would recommend upgrading. Clean, adequate breakfast, and extremely efficient and courteous staff
