Close by you will come to La Sagrada Familia - the Gaudi designed Cathedral that is estimated to take 200 years to complete. Climb one of the many steeples to enjoy views across the city. Half way down you will come to the Gothic Quarter - home to the Cathedral, Cloister Gardens, Kings Plaza, Bishops Palace and Picasso's Museum.
Liceo Opera House and a helpful Tourist Information Office can be found on the other side of Las Ramblas and at the end you will find the Maritime Museum and monument of Columbus.
The Port area is where you will find the exhibition centres, Barceloneta Complex and Olympic Village as well as golden sandy beaches where you can relax and soak up the sunshine.
