At the end you come to the Port are where Christopher Columbus set sail - his statue marks the spot. Across the boardwalk where the exhibition centres are including Emax Virtual Reality Cinema - amazing experience, you will eventually come to Barceloneta - a myriad of shops, cafes and superb views out to sea. A little further along are beaches, the Olympic Village and leading to the old part of town known as Poble Nou with an identity of its own.
A fast and efficient metro system will take you to different parts of the city where you can view the Sagrada Familia, Montjuic and the Olympic Stadium.
