Fabulous place for nature lovers, you can rise and shine in the morning, sip that morning coffee and look out on to the most verdant vegetation and plant life around. Its a photographers and walkers paradise. Spend hours trekking, discovering and marvelling at the wonders all around. Bird life and plant life are in abundance.
Close by is the little white sugar cubed village of Grazalema with its attractive main square - Plaza de Espana. It is lined with restaurants and cafe bars so be sure to take some time out and enjoy that cafe latte whilst you watch the world go by. Take the time to visit the 18th century church of La Aurora and just "be" for a while. Close by is the town hall and the parish church. The streets are ancient and interesting and filled with architecture that dates back centuries.
Shopping is interesting and varied - you'll find workshops making ponchos, scarves, rugs and woollen blankets. There are handicrafts, leather work, baskets and hand made jewellery.
Enjoy the panoramic views when you visit the town's pool by the road to El Bosque on the eastern edge of the village - from here you can see right across Grazalema and the Sierra.
Check out the tourist information office in the main square for the local events, celebrations, fiestas and festivals.
