The Big Banana Shopping Centre has most things you will require and there is also the Supermarket Colber.
Close by enjoy a day at the Hydro Park - its a favourite with the children - large water slides, swimming pools, boating pools and three mini-golf courses all set in lush green surroundings. The S'Albufera Park is wonderful for nature lovers - with over 2500 hectares of wonderland and many species of birds from all over Europe.
Day trips around the island are popular and if you go in to the main town of Palma you can view the ancient Cathedral, Bellver Castle. The highest point on the island is Puig Mayor and is well worth a visit. There are some fabulous vantage points that are popular with photographers and artists alike.
Alcudia has a relaxed and laid back feel so take the slower pace of life and soak up the atmosphere.
