In the heartland of this amazing city, just a few minutes from the main square - Plaza de Catalunya puts everything you could desire in easy reach. Have morning coffee overlooking the square and then meander across to enjoy a spot of shopping in the famous El Corte Ingles - one of the best department stores in Spain. If you don't find what you want in there, then there are numerous designer shops, small tailors and jewellers strewn along Las Ramblas - the tree lined avenue famous for its bird and flower stalls. About half way down you will find the Gothic Quarter - Bishops Palace, Kings Square and the gorgeous Cathedral. A little further over is Picasso's Art Gallery.
At the end of Las Ramblas is the Port with Emax Virtual Reality Cinema - the first in Europe and Barceloneta - shops, more restaurants and places to take in the view.
Away from central sights are Sagrada Familia - accessed by Diagonal and way out toward El Carmel in the North of the city you will find Guell Park - the Museum House of Gaudi - well worth a visit if you are an art lover.
After a busy day come back to your ensuite room, fully equipped with all your daily needs and relax, revive and refresh ready for an evening at the opera, ballet or Jazz Club!
