Plaza de Espanya is a central point and leads to the river where you will find the Park of Maria Luisa, San Telmo Palace Gardens and further along the Expo '92 exhibition centres. The Barrio Santa Cruz is a great place in the evening - where much of the social scene is to be found, but during the day why not view the impressive cathedral, Giralda - once the tallest building in the world but now forming the tower of the Cathedral with its Roman foundations, Gothic Temple and Flemish glassworks. Reales Alcazar is the Arabic Palace, famous for its evening concerts in the summer time, amazing collection of musical instruments and gorgeous palace gardens.
Shopping is a plenty here - El Corte Ingles being our famous departmental store with everything you could imagine. Plaza de Magdalena, Plaza de Duque and Calle Francos are the places to head for - beautiful boutiques, flamenco dressmakers, jewellers, fabulous food stores and artisan fayre or arts and crafts can all be found. For the shoe lover - there is an abundance of shoe shops - happy shopping!
