Once well rested and you have enjoyed breakfast you are able to set off on a day of adventure where you can discover the deep history and culture of the city. You cannot miss the centre piece of the town - Mezquita - a fabulous mosque that dominates the area.

Take a look around the Jewish Quarter which is very well looked after by its residents - enjoy the flower filled baskets and window displays and simply mingle with the locals.

Stop for coffee in any of the cafe bars and enjoy lunches and fine dining in the evenings in one of the very good restaurants serving typical cuisine of the region.

Later - why not take your seat at Tablao Cardenal or La Buleria for a night of Flamenco dancing, drinking and socialising.

Good stuff: The accomodation was in a good location to the Mesquita and the Jewish quarter. The people were helpful at the desk and there is a computer for use in the hotel for a very reasonable price. We were very grateful for that service.

Bad stuff: Room was not acceptable. The lighting was very poor--could not read at all in the room. There was also no window to the outside which made one feel claustrophic. The shower also did not work adequately. It kept popping off of its support and would not stay attached. If we could have moved from the hotel we would have but we were so thankful to find the place that the thought of changing was not a possibility. Also we had reserved so it was not something we could do.
