Good stuff: We liked the centrality of the hotel to the city.

Bad stuff: The smell of the smoking which greets you in the lobby could be off putting to people visiting the hotel to assess whether to stay or not.

Overall: We loved the city of Malaga. It is a lively buzzy place. Hostal Victoria was very close to all services and in the centre of the busy shopping area. It is handy to hotels, tourist information and the main tourist sites. The staff were friendly.
