Hostal El Tablon Cordoba Corregidor Luis de la Cerda, 68

Picture of Hostal El Tablon

Cordoba is one of the most beautiful city's in Spain. Architecture dating back to the times of Arabian Knights and Roman settlers and amazing panoramic views across the city when you walk over the Roman Bridge and past the Moorish waterwheels.

The Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos with its walled gardens and fountains is the perfect place to stroll and view one of the largest Roman mosaics in existence. Patios and terraces where you can relax and Botanical Gardens of interest.

The Jewish quarter is where you will find one of Spain's few remaining synagogues which you can visit free of charge.

There are two places known for displaying Flamenco Dancing - Tablao Cardenal on Calle Torrijos and La Buleria on Calle Pedro - both places you can relax with friends and a drink and enjoy the shows.

Shopping is largely made up of local fayre including artisan arts and crafts, famous Cordoba hats, leather work which was introduced by the Moors, pottery and ceramics with many designs and silverware and jewellery.

There are a good number of fine restaurants offering local cuisine and international menus - all to be enjoyed with wonderful wines of the region and further afield and make for a super way to spend evenings in the warm air and finish with a stroll along the river.
