Renovated in 2003, and situated close to both the airport and the city centre our modern hotel offers a warm welcome and a relaxed and comfortable stay. Each of the 150 rooms is generously equipped and comes with its own marbled bathroom. Our close proximity to the excellent public transport means we are ideally placed for you to go out and explore this wonderful city.

Newly renovated to a high standard in 2003, our delightful hotel enjoys a advantaged position at the end of Barcelona's Diagonal Avenue. Only 10 minutes from the airport and with easy access to the lively city centre and all the tourist attractions we are ideally placed to meet tourists and business travellers needs.

We have 150 spacious guest rooms, all of which are quiet and decorated in neutral tones adding a touch of calmness and serenity. All of the rooms are fitted with everything you will need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Each room also comes complete with its own marbled bathroom, with full sized bathtub and complimentary toiletries. Free wireless internet access is available in all rooms.

Guests can also make free use of the hotels Fitness Centre, complete with training equipment, or enjoy a game of squash. Alternatively, you may wish to sit back and relax in the sauna.

Just a short walk from the tram stop, a 15 minute ride will take you into the city centre where you can enjoy a day shopping in some of the most exclusive shops or the city's interesting markets selling all sorts of local produce. For those wishing to sample some of the culture there are museums and art galleries as well as the breathtaking architecture and beautiful streets to marvel at. If relaxation is what you are after, there's the beach where you can lie back and enjoy Barcelona's wonderful weather.

Good stuff: The rooms were spacious and comfortable with the added bonus of temperature control. Maid service daily. The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful in the main.

Bad stuff: Tea & coffee making facilities in the room would have been a nice touch. Bar and restaturant food prices were quite expensive. Some cheaper options would have made us more likely to eat at the hotel.

Overall: For a couple who had never been to Barcelona before the hotel was a lovely place to stay in terms of comfort and cleanliness. It would have been useful if there was some ready information about the tram system as the hotel is quite far out from the main city and we got lost on the first night; once you know where you are going the transport system is excellent. The only negative point was that we were sometimes made to feel a little less important than the business visitors by the hotel bar staff. Although we didnt eat at the hotel due to the high food prices, overall it was a nice place to stay and the rooms good value for money.
