A good walk or jump on the metro and you are soon at one of the most famous sights in the city of Barcelona - La Sagrada Familia - designed by Gaudi and estimated to take 200 years to complete. Climb one of the steeples and be rewarded with spectacular views across the city. Constantly under construction there is a new piece to see every time you visit. A little close to us is Comalat House and La Pedrera - also designed by Gaudi. A few blocks from Sagrada Familia is the Bullring Museum. Jump on the nearest metro from here and head down towards Arc de Triomphe where you can walk through Lluis Companys and down to the large park which is home to the Museum of Modern Art and the Zoo.
Olympic Village and super beaches are to be found close to the Port area and the unique Barceloneta with an identity of its own is where you will find glorious gift shops, cafes and restaurants and wonderful views out to sea.
