Marvellous monuments, monasteries and museums fill the city - the most famous is the Prado which is filled with over 4000 art pieces. Museums dedicated to not only Art but Archaeology, Bullfighting and the Marine world.
If you are travelling with the family then be sure to visit the Safari Park - see those amazing animals and enjoy a relaxing time with your loved ones. A favourite spot with many of the resident of Madrid is the Retiro Park - filled with flowers, fountains and trees and the perfect place to stroll, enjoy some peaceful moments and catch your breath.
There are some 17,000 bars in the city - it is said more than the whole of Belgium - who love their beer! Tapas and drinks with friends is a favourite past-time - there are numerous tasty dishes to try so be sure to take time out to enjoy all on offer.
