Freshly squeezed Sevilla Oranges, fresh breads, fresh coffee and perhaps some of the local cheeses and hams to start your day off in true Spanish style - some even have tortilla and a glass of wine! The locals are to be admired and its well worthwhile mingling with them and follow suit.
Take some time to sit in the Plaza de Espanya or stroll down the river and explore the Palace of San Telmo, Park of Maria Luisa and the river life.
Museums and monuments fill the city - the Cathedral is the 3rd largest in the world and built on Roman foundations has Gothic influences and fine Flemish glass work - to be admired and spend a little time pondering times gone by.
International cuisine is a plenty but the local cuisine is certainly worth tasting - Tapas - small dishes of tasty snacks ranging from marinaded fish, potato with a spicy sauce, cured hams, cheeses, olives, salads, spicy sausages and meats and tortillas - all washed down with the local wine or Jerez or the Manzanilla.
Walk off all those calories and spend some time around the Barrio de Santa Cruz where you will find typical Spanish bars and then perhaps stroll down the river or hit the main square where the crowds all gather.
Evening concerts to be found at the beautiful Arabic Palace - Reales Alcazares - let the atmosphere soak in to you and imagine days gone by.
