Rise and shine, get the coffee on and sit out on the veranda as you soak up the golden rays and bask in the blue sky atmosphere. There's plenty to do and see here so be sure that you are ready for an active holiday - with plenty of rests, sunbathing and siestas in between.

There are two swimming pools, good facilities for children too with their own pool and a playground where they can let off steam and chase each other around. For those days when you feel like a strategic game there's billiards and for the slightly more active why not hit the tennis courts.

The beaches here are the best on the island - golden sand and very safe - perfect for all the family. There's a long strip of shops, bars and restaurants so be sure to get out of the mid-day sun and have the leisurely lunch - relax with plenty of cool drinks.

There are plenty of attractions in this part of the island so why not venture out and discover - there are theme parks, an aqua park and the Palmitos Park is a subtropical oasis with a zoo. Holiday World is the leisure and amusement park and will keep the kids occupied for hours.

Evenings are spent out - enjoying the atmosphere and choosing from any number of themed bars, restaurants and for those who want to continue clubs with all the latest sounds. Dance until the early hours.

Good stuff: Private, relaxed complex with good swimmimg pools and close to the Yumbo centre. Quiet street.

Bad stuff: The bathrooms are quite tired looking and could do with an upgrade. Very 70's in style.

Overall: The bungalows were a nice change from staying in an apartment as they are more private and situated off a quiet road so there is no traffic noise. Having the patio area for each bungalow allows you sit and relax in your own area and the two swimming pools are nice to relax beside too. Just a short walk from the Yumbo centre and all that it provides.
