Lazy days around the pool and terrace where you can catch up on your reading, play games with the family or conquer that puzzle. Swim to cool off and soak up that glorious golden sunshine.
Head down to the marina to view the yachts and join the hustle and bustle. Be sure to pay homage to the Cathedral, Almudaina palace and its beautiful gardens and visit the nearby Bellver Castle. There are plenty of shops selling excellent fashions, boutiques with beautiful outfits, perfumeries, jewellers and gift stores. Speciality food stores where you can find the wonderful cheeses of Mallorca, herbs, olives, breads, meats and wines. All the makings of a delicious picnic and then take off up in to the mountains. You can either take the train up there or hire a car.
Fiestas, firesworks and festivals take place throughout the year - staring with the Three Kings on the 5th January, the Santa Antoni celebrations - the patron saint of animals on the 17th January and then in to February with the main Carnival which involves fancy dress, lots of wine and hot sausages - delicious!
Market days are fun and filled with treasures and gifts and fresh produce and colourful characters.
