Fabulous location and giving easy access to some rather interesting sights in this wonderful city of ours. A short walk and you are in Plaza de Espanya - close to Las Arenas Bullring. This square is the gateway to another world, in the evenings you can enjoy colourful, magical fountain displays accompanied by music that will delight and enthral you. Continue up to the Museum of Art and there you can either continue walking or take the escalators up to the Mountain of the Jews - Montjuic - a favourite vantage point with panoramic view across the ocean and city.
Montjuic is home to the complex known as the Spanish Village - a myriad of streets all celebrating the merits of the various villages of Spain - gift shops, cobblers, leather merchants, silk and fine fabrics entwined with cool cafes and shady seating area. Large square where you can take photos and feel the ambiance of a bygone day. There is often a fair on the mount and this is the home of the Olympic Stadium and museum. Visit Montjuic Castle and don't forget your camera!
