 Palma is the centre of commerce and culture here on the island and it has a deep and interesting history. Roman remains are still being found in the houses in the Old Quarter.
We are nestled in the quieter part of the town, just 2km from the centre and enjoying super views. All our rooms are spacious and ensuite with everything you will require for an easy and relaxed holiday. After breakfast enjoy a short stroll down Paseo Maritimo and the bay where you can view the amazing yachts. Relaxed coffees in the shade as you watch the world go by and then perhaps a visit to the excellent choice of shops - boutiques, jewellers, perfumeries, accessories and gifts. Take a look at the speciality food shops where you can buy the best sausages, hams, salamis, cheeses, breads, olives, herbs and wines. The Mallorcan cheese is especially delicious and comes in varying degrees of strength. Pack a picnic and take off on the train from Placa d'Espanya up the 27km gauge that runs through the Sierra de Tramuntana and over to the town of Soller - you end at a 17th century manor house. Its a wonderful way to enjoy the breathtaking views from the mountains - be sure to take your camera.
Evenings are spent wining and dining, there are numerous bars, clubs and plenty of festivals and celebrations to watch and enjoy throughout the year. Always alive and alight.
