 We are situated in the heart of the city close to Catalynya tube stop and plenty of buses to take you anywhere you desire. Nearest main train station is Sants. Catalunya Square is the central point with beautiful fountains and faces the Ramblas (avenue) which starts from the centre and goes all the way along to the sea. Along the way you will pass the Gothic Quarter with amazing architecture dating back to Roman times. "Must sees" are King Square - a beautiful precinct surrounded by Gothic buildings from the 16th century, the Great Square with its equestrian statue sculptured by Jose Limona and the amazing Cathedral Cloisters with gorgeous gardens, chapels and shrines and where you will find the Cathedral Museum. Further down and all along the Ramblas you will find places to eat and drink - tapas from Catalunya and from the Basque region can be found - mouth wateringly delicious and washed down with the local San Miguel or a choice of Spanish wines.
