Sevilla is the city of fiestas, festivals, ancient architecture, international cuisine, monuments, museums and a wealth of sight seeing.
Once you have breakfasted its time to venture out in to the city and discover some of the sights. River Guadalquivar runs through the city and makes for a very pleasant walk along the riverside. Head for Plaza de Espanya and eventually you will come to the Park of Maria Luisa and the gardens of San Telmo Palace.
Shopping is prolific in the centre with beautiful boutiques, jewellers, gift stores, artisan handicrafts, art and fine food stores. Our large and famous departmental store El Corte Ingles can be found in Plaza de Magdelena and other streets to explore include Calle Franco, Plaza de Duque where there are more food halls and stores. A wealth of fashion, shoes and accessories to complete that special outfit.
There are numerous museums and monuments paying tribute to the art world and a bygone age - the Cathedral built on a Gothic Temple, with Roman influence and beautiful Flemish glass work is not to be missed, nor is the Arabic Palace - Reales Alcazares where you can enjoy summer time concerts in the evenings.
Gastronomic delights from all over the world but give the Spanish Tapas a try - very tasty and mingle with the locals.
